Resumes and Published Pieces
I feel that it's important to share work with the world, especially published works or works released for public view. Not only does it promote yourself, but it helps to promote the publications and productions you are a part of. Besides my resumes, I have also included links to a selection of the publications that I am a part of. For a full list of my publications, please see my writing resume. For links to some acting and voiceover projects listed in the respective resumes, head to the Media page.

Mystic Owl Magazine
Mystic Owl Magazine publishes the strange, the weird, and the speculative. My fiction piece, Dinner Dreams (once a flash fiction piece that won a library contest turned short story), after holding onto it for years and giving it some tweaks, has found its place here. Fun fact: the founder is a fellow Columbia College Chicago acquaintance of mine; we've been in a handful of writing classes together! Congratulations on the debut, Cesar, and may Mystic Owl continue finding success!
Querencia Press
It's their first anthology! I linked a pdf version of it here, but don't hesitate to look them up and purchase a copy for yourself. My piece, Broken Record, found its home in the fiction section of this publication after sitting in my drafts for a while. They have also helped publish a few novels, so maybe give them a read as well.
Empyrean Literary Magazine
A new magazine originally functioning under the name Solstice Literary Magazine. My fiction piece, Apricot of the Pantry, is published in Empyrean's first issue! Due to the rebranding of the magazine, original issues can only be viewed through purchase. But please consider doing so!
Heartland Society of Women Writers
A publication by women writers, for women writers. You will find my piece The Play in Playground here among the many other featured female authors. Please consider supporting them, and ladies, maybe consider submitting your work!
KUMQUAT Magazine
Link to my published pieces for this magazine, originally named FRANCES Magazine. You will find my work in Issue 2 "Tarot" (titled Life's Reparations) and Issue 3.5 "Venus" (titled Pendant). Unlisted is Issue 3 "Velvet", where my piece (titled Jacket) was accepted. These magazines are free to read at the link, but you can also purchase copies as well.
Directions Literary Magazine
A throwback to the first magazine I was published with. This is technically the fourth issue I was featured in, but I only have an online copy of the last one, Volume 42, because the pandemic prevented its print publication. You'll find my two pieces, Aqua and The Play in Playground, in this issue. Fun fact: I actually came up with the title and wrote the foreword (I guess that comes with the editing position)!
Contemporary Jo
You'll notice two buttons, and no, it's not a mistake. My work is featured in both Issue III and Issue V of Contemporary Jo. Find my short story, Cold Shoulder, in Issue III, and four poems in Issue V. The magazine is also a supporter of smaller zines and they even have a small line of merch, so consider supporting them that way.
